Taiwan visa waiver visitors to Thailand and Brunei
Taiwan Cabinet has waived visa requirements on Friday for visitors from Thailand and Brunei to stay until to 30 days to attract more tourists to visit the island.
The source said that the decision will be tested within a year by applying up to 31 July next year.
About 1.43 million tourists from countries in Southeast Asia visited Taiwan last year.
Project visa exemption for citizens of Thailand and Brunei this would increase the number of visitors from Asia kne៍ 20 percent, or about 28 thousand more 2016.
